I grew up with a grandmother who sang me to sleep and told me stories about elves and fairies lurking in the woods.
She is the inspiration that still, even now, makes me want to create new worlds and explore them in my mind.

Anna Marie May lives in the South of Ireland where rolling hills and stormy seas are a fact of life. She started writing at the age of fifteen and her inspiration comes from her grandmother's stories about elves and goblins lurking in the woods outside of her home.
Writing is a way for her to blow of steam, to create new worlds and to visit them in her dreams. Her fist novel was published by Dreamspinner Press (Green Lake) in 2010 and her newest novel, Love For Hire, will be available in autumn of 2011 followed by the third novel, Betting on Love (through Silver Publishing) in January 2012.
Juggling life and many new projects is never easy but hopefully there shall be many more books coming up in the near future.
